Dr. Richard M. Lipman

Richard Lipman, M.D., attended Wesleyan University, where he received a B.A. Honors degree. He earned his medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzer School of Medicine, followed by an internship in General Surgery at Rush-Presbyterian—St. Lukes’s Medical Center. Dr. Lipman also completed his ophthalmology residency at Rush-Presbyterian—St. Luke’s Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident in his final year, before going on to complete a Retina-Vitreous Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin.
Dr. Lipman is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, Indiana State Medical Association, Illinois State of Medical Society, Chicago Medical Society, and Illinois Association of Ophthalmology.
After 30 years of dedication and devotion to his patient’s vision care, Dr. Lipman has retired as of June 1, 2023.
